Welcome to our latest and most ambitious endeavor, California Shabu Shabu #3! The previous 2 locations were each fraught with their own entirely unique set of challenges; The first location was completed on a meager budget and opened only weeks after the actual sauce recipes were perfected, and our last Costa Mesa spot was barely half built, rent fees closing in, when our contractor called it quits and disappeared. So far, Santa Monica has given us its own brand of complication, and we hope you guys will share the sometimes torturous, always wallet emptying journey with us.
This is our brand’s 3rd location and the most design and build intensive so far. As we attempt to grow, there’s a lot more to think about behind the scenes, and so many new kinds of decisions. My apologies in advance for sporadic updates. I feel like an old timer already since I have a hard time already keeping my own facebook account. We hope you guys will enjoy the next few months.
